Lee Hall Sr.

Principal

Lee Hall Sr. was born in San Felipe, Texas and raised by a single mom. He was the fifth of sixth children. He grew up in a very challenging time. His family did not have very much and struggled to survive. His goal as a child was to grow up and get a job so he could eat well. He never realized that his challenges as a child would be the driving force for him as he advanced in life to help people who struggled to make it. He uses his life experiences to understand and help the plight of the underserved and challenged.

One day during the 6th grade, he heard the voice of the Lord, with an instruction to “Go to Huntsville,” similar to Samuel in the Bible, but he didn’t know what to do with the voice or how to respond. The same instruction was given by God again during 8th grade and finally in the 12th grade. By this time, he understood that the instruction was significant, and that he would follow the path to “Go to Huntsville.” After High School graduation and two years at a Junior College, he went to finish his college education at Sam Houston State University located in Huntsville, Texas. On November 1, 1984 he attended a college Christian retreat. On that evening during the retreat, the pastor’s message was so directed to him that he gave his complete heart to Christ as he heard from the Lord again. It was there in Huntsville that he discovered his life’s mission to help people. He received his calling to preach in September of 1988 at the Eastland Street Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Pastor Lee Hall, Sr. is married to Angela and they have five adult children and 14 grandchildren. Lee enjoys spending time with his family, especially on Sundays when they all get together for Sunday dinner. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, walks in the park with Angela, and exercising. He is an avid reader and has co-authored a book titled Pray or Become Prey. The book was a God-given writing to assist pastors and leaders in prayer. He also published “Partners in Prayer,” a cover story of Rev. Magazine, May 2002.

Pastor Hall has an Associate’s of Arts Degree in Industrial Education from Blinn Jr. College, a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Industrial Technology from Sam Houston State University, and a Master’s of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his DMin from Gateway Theological Seminary. Pastor Hall is the founding Pastor of Grace Christian Center. He envisions the congregation of Grace Christian Center with high potential to reach a lost world, and he focuses on teaching the congregation to be active, impactful, and influential. The goal is to take the Word of God outside the walls of the building and into the community to inspire people and instill hope.
